The temperatures dropping and the leaves turning and falling signifies that summer is over and fall is upon us. 3. Batten down the hatches before the cold winter weather rolls in. During the summer, you’ll never notice if there are air leaks around your windows and doors. During the winter, however, you’ll be shivering—and spending hard-earned money on energy and heat seeping through the cracks. This is an easy DIY chore that will keep your family warm and keep the dollars in your pocket.
